Vappu jee!

We celebrated Vappu on Sunday by having a brunch in Central Park. It was difficult explaining the point of Vappu to the foreigners, but many joined us to find out in person. We also had minor difficulties finding traditional Finnish food, but we had an abundance of sparkling wine and in the end the party was almost exactly as the one in Ullis in Helsinki save the high-school graduation caps and overalls. We continued to my place for an afterparty and even later some of us found their way to Tao, a nice club right next door. I've just added a few pictures to flickr.
